Services

As a collective of experienced IoT companies, AMIOT can transform the challenge of building an IoT project into a breeze.

Service types

Certification

A major function of AMIOT is to rigorously test hardware in practical circumstances. We test devices in operational environments to see how they're really going to perform in long-duration IoT projects.

We assess both:
- the ability to work from a technical point of view covering durability and connection
- The whole communication circle, including recovery, updates, and unexpected events.

Scores are provided from 1 to 10.
5-6 is awarded a bronze certification, 7-8 is awarded a silver certification, and 9-10 is awarded the gold certification.

You can see a list of tested devices in our Hardware section.

Growth support

AMIOT provides growth support through broadening business and manufacturing processes. This is bespoke for each project, so let us know what your business circumstances are, and we can tell you what we can do to help.

We help you reach critical mass (500+ devices active) by assisting in hardware / PCB development / moulding / etc.

When you're buying services from a company (components / pcb / manufacturing), we can help smooth the process and offset payments for you.

Development

Core and Associate AMIOT members bring together decades of expertise with IoT project development.

We can participate in the following areas:
- Selecting / customising hardware
- Developing / optimising firmware
- Connecting via middleware
- Connecting to an endpoint
- Selecting / customising data handling
- Selecting / customising user facing software

Business communication

AMIOT is a hub for various businesses that operate modularly within an IoT project to connect to each other. Every business is welcome to join our community channels, but our services go beyond this, with us helping you to establish connections more quickly and easily through our network.

Wherever your business operates in the IoT stack, we can help you maximise your presence for different projects.
