Lukáš Smetana has been involved in the IoT field for almost 8 years, with the last 5 years working at ACRIOS Systems. Initially, he helped customers with technical support and integrations, but today he is fully focused on sales. Among his most significant successes is a project in Lithuania, where ACRIOS Systems delivered a solution for remote data collection from hundreds of thousands of meters. He currently specializes in meter retrofitting, i.e. connecting existing meters to IoT networks
ACRIOS Systems is a Czech company specializing in the development and production of converters for remote meter readings via LoRaWAN and NB-IoT networks. Their products support communication standards such as M-Bus and wM-Bus and enable easy integration of existing meters into IoT networks. The company focuses on sectors such as gas, water, property management and district heating. ACRIOS has implemented projects worldwide, including the delivery of 10,000 remote reading devices in Vilnius, Lithuania. All products are developed and manufactured in the Czech Republic with the support of a 35-member team.
